DO UNTO YOUR KIDS AS YOU WOULD WANT YOUR KIDS TO DO UNTO YOU!!! Children follow by example. Set the example of how you want to be treated by treating your children that way.

Remember…. Parents are the ultimate role model for children. Every word, movement, facial expression and action has an effect. No other person or outside force has a greater influence on a child than a parent. Your children will become who you are so always be who you want them to be.

Remember that the most important thing is NOT your child’s behavior. The MOST important thing is your child!!! Look beyond behavior and CONNECT with your child. Be curious, not furious.

Love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world. -Jack Layton
