Easy Puttanesca Sauce over Zucchini Noodles


1/2 cup onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic

4 shitake or white mushrooms, diced

6 green olives with pimentos, chopped

1 can sardines, drained

1/2 jar all natural tomato sauce, no added sugar

Fresh basil, chopped

Zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash


Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pot

Add onions, garlic and mushroom and sauté

Add olives, tomato sauce and sardines. Break up sardines while mixing

Heat zucchini noodles and pour sauce over noodles.
